No orders are showing for a day
The most common problem with a new install, and the four things to check in order.
Every screen shows zero orders for a day you know has deliveries, and nothing explains why.
Work through these in order. The first one is right far more often than the rest combined.
1. The delivery date format
Wunder Delivery finds a day's orders by searching for the delivery-date tag your checkout app writes, and that search has to match exactly. If your app writes 30/08/2026 and the app is looking for 2026-08-30, it finds nothing — with no error, because a shop with no orders that day looks identical.
Open a real order in your Shopify admin, look at its tags, and find the one that is a date. Then check Settings → Orders → Delivery date tag format matches its exact shape.
The full walkthrough is in tell Wunder Delivery how your delivery dates are written.
2. Does the order actually carry a date tag?
Not every order gets one. Check the order in your Shopify admin:
- A customer who chose collection rather than delivery may not have a delivery date.
- An order placed before you installed your delivery app has no tag.
- An order created manually in the Shopify admin has no tag unless somebody added it.
- Your delivery app writes the tag a few seconds after checkout, so a brand-new order can briefly have none.
An order with no date tag belongs to no day. Add the tag and it appears.
3. Are you on the right day?
Obvious, but worth ruling out. Check the date chip you have selected, and remember that dashboard cards each carry their own date line — that is what they are for.
On Essential you can see three days ahead; on other plans, seven. A delivery further out than that is not missing, just out of range.
4. Have you got a filter you did not mean to keep?
If you arrived from a dashboard button such as Review unassigned orders, a filter chip is applied. It shows above the list and can be removed.
Picking a different day removes an unassigned, unfulfilled or area filter rather than carrying it across. So if the list looked filtered and now does not, that is expected.
Still empty?
Use the search box and type an order number you know exists. Searching by number looks beyond the selected day. If the order is found that way, the problem is the date tag on that order. If it is not found at all, tell us.
