Install Wunder Delivery and open it for the first time
What happens when the app is added to your Shopify store, where to find it afterwards, and what it does and does not change about your orders.
Wunder Delivery is not a separate system you have to keep in step with Shopify. It sits inside your Shopify admin and reads the orders that are already there. Nothing is copied into a second database, and nothing you do in Wunder Delivery is invisible to Shopify.
Getting access
Wunder Delivery is not on the Shopify App Store yet. Access is arranged directly with us, and we send you an install link for your store.
- Request access and tell us your store’s

- Open the link while signed in to your Shopify admin as the store owner or a staff member with app permissions.
- Shopify shows you the permissions the app needs. Approve them.
You will be asked to allow access to order and customer information. The app needs this to show you your own orders, print them, and pass fulfilment updates back to Shopify. There is a plain-English summary on our security page.
If your store is on Shopify Plus, the app is not currently supported. Talk to us before arranging an install.
Where to find it afterwards
Once installed, Wunder Delivery appears in the Apps section of your Shopify admin sidebar. Click it and you land on the dashboard — the day view we call the Delivery Action Centre.
The app opens inside Shopify. You are not signing in anywhere else, and your staff do not need a second set of passwords. Anyone who can already sign in to your Shopify admin can open Wunder Delivery.
What it changes, and what it does not
Wunder Delivery reads your Shopify orders and adds a working layer on top of them:
- It groups orders by the delivery date your checkout app already records.
- It prints cards, envelopes, dispatch sheets and invoices from that order data.
- It lets you assign a driver to an order, and gives that driver their own private view.
- It writes back to Shopify when a delivery is completed, and when an order is tagged as printed.
It does not replace Shopify. Your products, customers, payments, refunds and reports all stay exactly where they are. If you uninstalled Wunder Delivery tomorrow, your orders would be untouched — you would simply lose the working layer.
When the app changes something on an order, Shopify records it on that order's timeline as an edit by Wunder Delivery, exactly as it would for any other app or staff member. That is normal, and it means you can always see what happened and when.
