Which settings apply to you, your computer, or the whole store
The single most common source of "it did not save" — a plain list of which settings follow your login, which belong to the machine you are sitting at, and which change things for everybody.
Settings in Wunder Delivery live in one of three places. Almost every report of a setting “not saving” turns out to be a setting saved in one place and looked for in another.
The three scopes
Your staff account. Follows your Shopify login anywhere you sign in. Your colleague has their own.
This computer. Stored in the browser on the machine you are using. A different computer, a different browser, or a private window is a different place.
The whole store. Changes it for everyone, everywhere.
What is where
| Setting | Scope |
|---|---|
| Order list column choices and layout | Your staff account |
| Default filter on Orders, Print and Invoice | Your staff account |
| Frequently used tags | Your staff account |
| Print engine — PrintNode or QZ Tray | This computer |
| QZ Tray printer assignments and offsets | This computer |
| Template Global/Local switch | This computer |
| Local templates themselves | This computer |
| “Open in a new tab” choices | This computer |
| Dashboard card order | This computer |
| Delivery date tag format | Whole store |
| PrintNode API key and printer assignments | Whole store |
| Integrations field mapping | Whole store |
| Driver roster, portal address and branding | Whole store |
| Which tag means “printed” | Whole store |
| Auto Print station and freshness window | Whole store |
| Global templates | Whole store |
| Turning a document on or off | Whole store |
The three that surprise people most
Two people signed in to the same store keep separate column layouts and separate default filters, on purpose. When somebody says a column "keeps disappearing", the first question is which login they are using — not what is wrong with the app.
The office PC can print through PrintNode while the bench PC uses QZ Tray. That is a supported setup. If printing behaves differently on a colleague's computer, check that computer's engine before looking anywhere else.
Most cards in Settings → Orders end with "Applies to this computer only". The delivery date tag format sits in the same place and does not — it changes the setting for every staff member and every browser, because it describes your other delivery app rather than a preference.
Clearing your browser resets the “this computer” column
Everything in the middle scope lives in your browser. Clearing cache and site data wipes it, and the app treats your machine as a new computer.
This is recoverable — see templates and printer settings disappeared.
